Experts discuss medical imaging landscape in India

India's leading radiologists said at a radiology group's meeting that the country's radiology industry is growing, as indicated by increasing interest in the field and in research. Most PET/CT scanners in the country are being operated by private entities, one expert said. The use of PET/MRI is also gaining popularity, another expert said. The country, however, has limited access to imaging tracers because of a lack of cyclotrons, the experts said.
