UOP to provide technology for propane-dehydrogenation unit in China

Honeywell's UOP will provide key petrochemical technology to Zhejiang Shaoxing Sanjin Petrochemical's new propane-dehydrogenation unit in China. The Chinese firm will use the UOP C3 Oleflex process technology to convert propane to propylene. Aside from this technology, UOP will also provide technical service, staff training, engineering design, equipment, catalysts and adsorbents for the project, which is expected to begin operations in 2013.
