Panhandle Eastern gas pipeline ruptures; no one injured

A natural gas pipeline in Pettis County, Mo., owned by Panhandle Eastern Pipeline ruptured and exploded Thursday night. Some residents were evacuated but no injuries were reported, officials said. "We are working with the local emergency responders to make sure the needs of any of those who were impacted are taken care of," the company said.
