Pre-existing diabetes raises odds of stillbirth, infant death

Women with pre-existing diabetes had a more than fourfold increased risk of stillbirth and were nearly twice as likely to see their infants die after birth compared with those without pre-existing diabetes, data from the Northern Diabetes in Pregnancy Survey showed. The results appear in Diabetologia.
