Work underway for $1.3B N.Y-N.J. bridge project

North- and south-bound lanes of the Bayonne Bridge that connects New York and New Jersey have been renovated as part of a $1.3 billion project to raise the bridge by 64 feet. Now, those lanes will close for three consecutive nights so crews can install posts between the lanes, demolish the bridge's eastern half and build the first section of the new approach road.
