Church group angered by CBS, NBC ad refusal

The United Church of Christ says both CBS and NBC refused to air an advertisement calling for more inclusiveness in Christianity. The church, noted for its liberalism, said the networks expressed concern that the ads could generate controversy. "Our policy is we do not do advocacy ads," said Alan Wurtzel, head of NBC's program standards division.
