After-school English instruction used to improve student achievement

An Idaho district is offering English instruction to students and their parents after school in an effort to help students who are not fluent perform better in school. "All the students that are here tonight, it gives them the opportunity to increase their skills, be it in reading, language or math," one school official said. "And it brings everybody together with the common focus of the kids to improve [and] be successful in school."
