CN leans on contingency plan as engineers strike:

Canadian National Railway Co. has put a contingency plan in motion to help it meet deliveries while its engineers continue to strike. The railroad has tapped qualified managers to drive locomotives and is minimizing railcar switching by asking customers to streamline their freight for smoother train pickup. Still, shippers across Canada are reporting train service delays.
