Report says converter-box program generated $2.5B for retailers

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration aided in the shipping of 46.2 million digital-to-analog converter boxes during the government-subsidized program that was connected to the country's transition earlier this year to all-digital TV signals, according to a report. The program, according to the report from Digital Tech Consulting, helped generate more than $2.5 billion in retail revenue.
