Tensions run high at airport authority meeting

Tempers flared at a public meeting this week to provide input on draft revisions for minimum operating standards and rules and regulations for the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport in Martinsburg, W.Va. Among allegations were that authorities were working to privatize the airport. John Collins, manager of airport policy for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, called on attendees to "check your emotions at the door."
