Zero-energy builder ZETA picks Sacramento for modules plant

Zero-energy builder ZETA Communities has set up shop in Sacramento, Calif., where it will manufacture its ultra-efficient building modules. The company chose the city because it is "such a hub" for green building, said Shilpa Sankaran, vice president of business operations. The California Public Utilities Commission in September earmarked $175 million for zero-energy pilot programs and above-code construction incentives.
