U.S. agency to adopt a hosted e-mail solution

The U.S. General Services Administration will adopt cloud-based e-mail technology across the agency under a five-year, $6.7 million deal with Unisys and Google. The GSA said moving its 15,000 employees to Gmail and using other cloud-based Google applications will cut agency costs in half over the course of the contract.
