LinkedIn tops social nets in leads, though Twitter is more popular

LinkedIn provides more B2B leads than other social networks -- even though Twitter is more popular with B2B marketers, a Pardot study found. While 91% of the surveyed group used Twitter, it ranks behind category leader LinkedIn and blogging in lead generation. More than half of the group also agreed that it's OK to contact leads over social networks without an invitation.
