South Jersey hospital makes progress on regional NICU

South Jersey Healthcare and the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children have completed the first phase of a $6 million expansion of the nursery at SJH Regional Medical Center to create the area's first Level III NICU. Nurses and physicians helped with the unit's design and product selection, and the new NICU will have better lighting, sound-proofing and cork-based flooring to ensure proper stimulation for preterm babies.
