Things to consider before buying tablet PCs for your team

The surge in popularity of tablet computers is no longer the domain of consumers alone since the enterprise market began staking its claim to the latest in mobile technology. Research from IDC shows the number of employee-owned mobile devices increased 10% this year and is growing, but there's a message of caution in those numbers. IDC's Crawford Del Prete says before you run out and buy an iPad for all your employees, consider that tablets aren't easy to secure; and with an average replacement cycle of two-and-a-half years, they can be costly, too.
