Maine town board to decide fate of LPG tank proposal next year

The Searsport, Maine, Planning Board will meet Jan. 16 to decide whether DCP Midstream can build its proposed 138-foot-tall propane storage tank in the town. The board finished its public hearings on the proposal last week. Planning Board Chairman Bruce Probert said he doesn't expect the board's decision to be the last word, as the losing side will most likely appeal its case to state Superior Court.
