Anthony Starego, a student at Brick Township High School in Brick, N.J., may have autism, but that didn't stop him from making the winning field goal with 21 seconds left in a tied game. For Starego, whose autism makes him shun physical contact, becoming a kicker was a challenge, but the disorder instead became an asset as his adherence to routine makes him a better kicker. "Routine is everything to him. It's what his life is all about," his father, Ray Starego, said.
