Study: More sleep may lower teens' chances of diabetes

Getting one extra hour of sleep may help improve insulin resistance by 9% in teens who normally sleep for only six hours a night, a study in the journal SLEEP indicated. Researchers said increasing the amount of sleep may also help reduce the risk of diabetes onset in youth.
