Friends may influence children's level of physical activity

Children with physically active friends were more likely to be active as well, compared with children with inactive friends, according to a Canadian review of 13 studies in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity. However, researchers found no evidence the sedentary behaviors of children's circle of friends were associated with children's sedentary activity.
