Hostess sees future beyond U.S. borders

Hostess Brands became available once again in mid-2013 under new ownership after its 2012 bankruptcy. Four months later, President Rich Seban said strong interest from around the world could lead to partnerships to take the brand beyond the U.S., although no formal plans are in place. The company is planning several new product launches for next year with a focus on health, such as added fiber, whole grains and gluten-free.
