IHG Regional VP points to emerging growth opportunities in Peru, Colombia

InterContinental Hotels Group's growth drive in Latin America continues with 50 properties in its pipeline for the region. Gerardo Murray, a regional vice president at IHG, said Mexico remains a key focus for the hotel firm, while countries such as Peru, Colombia and Brazil show increasing potential. IHG is concentrating on the middle market through its Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn brands, Murray added.
