Pa. district offers nontraditional learning options

A school district in Pennsylvania has launched two nontraditional learning programs to help meet the needs of its diverse student body. The programs offer students who cannot attend school during the regular school day -- including those with health and special-learning needs -- an option to learn in a blended- or online-learning environment. In both programs, educators use individualized planning to meet students' unique needs.
