Personality revealed by dog or cat preference

In the U.S., 62% of households have a pet, and dogs are most popular, with 39% owning a dog. A recent study by the University of Texas found that human personality traits are reflected in the choice of dogs or cats: Dog people are more extroverted, agreeable and conscientious, while cat people are more creative, adventurous and anxious. Even the breeds chosen reflect the owner's personality, research has found.
