Survey: More tech firms see M&A as a solution to the talent shortage

Following two years of relative decline, mergers and acquisitions activity in the technology sector is expected to heat up next year, according to a new poll of senior executives, attorneys and venture capitalists. The survey -- conducted by Morrison & Foerster and research firm 451 Research -- found that, unlike in previous polls, companies are less interested in the money-making aspects of dealmaking and are more inclined to turn to M&A as a means of acquiring necessary talent.
