Wal-Mart dominates social media mentions on Black Friday

Nearly 1 in 5 mentions of large U.S. retailers on Facebook and Twitter during the Black Friday shopping period was about Wal-Mart, which also had the largest engaged Facebook audience with 615,454 unique users, according to data from Shareablee. Next most popular on the two social networks was Amazon, which nabbed an 8% share of mentions. Best Buy was the most-mentioned retailer on Twitter with 7,387 unique retweeters.
