Beijing brings in architects to prep for 2008 Olympics

With its day in the world spotlight as host of the 2008 Olympics approaching fast, Beijing is enlisting the talents of world-class architects to bring new mystique to the Forbidden City. Renowned Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron are likely to help the city wow the world with their surreal, space age-style National Stadium, benevolently dubbed by Beijingers as the "bird's nest."
