Study: More than half of public owners built green in past year

Nearly half of public owners in the U.S. have turned to green building measures in construction projects in the past year, according to a new study from consulting firm PinnacleOne. Among those who implemented the designs, 87% were familiar with LEED standards and more than two-thirds used the standards in their designs.
