San Francisco hotels spend millions on makeovers

Hotels in San Francisco are pouring millions of dollars into upgrades as room rates rise in the booming market. The JW Marriott recently committed $40 million to upgrades for its 337 rooms, restaurant, lobby and meeting rooms. And the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf recently received its own $33 million upgrade.
