Washington grocer bans high-fructose corn syrup

PCC Natural Markets has banned the sale of products that contain high-fructose corn syrup amid consumer complaints about the presence of trans fats and high-fructose corn syrup in food. Seattle's Madison Market co-op also is considering the same overall ban, although it has an HFCS-free deli.
