ACC is encouraged by government's efforts on toxic-chemicals reform

Washington, Maine and California have joined 10 other states to issue their recommendations on the plan to revise the 33-year-old Toxic Substances Control Act. The Environmental Protection Agency also has outlined its ideas for TSCA reform that is under review in Congress. The American Chemistry Council is "encouraged by what appears to be a high level of alignment between our industry's and the [Obama] administration's principles for TSCA reform," according to ACC President and CEO Cal Dooley.
