Blog: Jobs are abundant in cloud computing, but few are ready for them

There seem to be plenty of jobs available for architects, engineers and strategy consultants who work in cloud computing, writes David Linthicum. That hiring demand is coming much sooner in the adoption cycle than other types of IT specialties, he writes. So much need for talent with so few qualified workers means one predictable result will be that many positions will be filled by workers who are less than optimal, holding back the productivity of cloud computing, he writes.
