DOT infrastructure spending climbs to $6.3B

Department of Transportation spending on infrastructure provided by the economic stimulus package rose to $6.3 billion through Nov. 20. That's up from $5.9 billion in the prior week. The spending has paid for bridge and highway repairs as well as transit operations and new infrastructure. This winter will see an influx of funds targeting rail projects.
