Invention eases gardening for handicapped people

An Ohio man has designed an innovative system that allows individuals in wheelchairs to garden. John Copp's Legacy Hydroponic is a 6-foot-high unit that holds cups of potted soil over recycling water. Energy required for growth is provided by fluorescent lights. Copp notes that he has grown tomatoes, corn and lettuce from seeds in the unit.
