Low-dose aspirin may offer some protection against AMD

A daily low-dose aspirin may help women prevent age-related macular degeneration, according to a Harvard study. Data showed women who took aspirin over 10 years had an 18% lower risk of AMD than those who did not, though the risk difference was not statistically significant, researchers said.
