Publicis looks to trim costs, via alignment of Razorfish, Digitas

The acquisition of Razorfish by Publicis Groupe has allowed the holding company to streamline some operations with its digital agency Digitas, via its Vivaki digital ad unit. Among the changes are in recruiting, which is being jointly helmed by Digitas' chief financial officer, Joe Tomasulo, and Alicia Shankland, Razorfish's head of human resources. Layoffs are expected to be minimal during the transition.
