Students compete in civics tournament in California

Students in Advanced Placement government classes at California's Bakersfield High School recently competed in a civics tournament that included five rounds of oral, video, audio and picture questions from current events and their civics curriculum. More than 1,000 spectators turned out to watch as the 32 students competed for prizes and bragging rights. A previous winner said the contest was a "great motivator" in preparing for the AP test.
