UN: World economy to improve in 2010

The world economy is on track to grow by 2.4% in 2010, but the recovery will be uneven and remain fragile, according to the UN report "The World Economic Situation and Prospects 2010." Massive stimulus plans put in place by governments are helping to drive the recovery and should be kept in place until there is evidence of sustainable growth to prevent a second recession, the report warns.
