Report: Doctors go social to reach out to patients

Doctors aren't the social media laggards they're often believed to be, according to a white paper that suggests many medical practitioners now use social tools. Doctors use social platforms to build relationships with marketers and to share information with patients. "Patients are sharing information among themselves; we need to be there too," says soft-tissue surgeon Felasfa Wodajo.
