ABA warns against energy drink restrictions

Chris Gindlesperger, senior director of public affairs for the ABA, said banning the sale of energy drinks to minors, as recommended by health officials in Suffolk County, N.Y., would create a "slippery slope." For such a ban to be consistent, he said, cafes would have to make sure young people were of legal age before serving them coffee or tea.
