At c-store show, a thirst for functional drinks

Beverage brands with functional aspects were highlighted at the annual show of the National Association of Convenience Stores. Nawgan promises mental focus, Xyience Xenergy is a hydrating energy drink, and Modjo offers sports drinks with coconut water as their base. Coca-cola showed off a number of offerings, including its Core Power, a milk protein drink made from low-fat,lactose-free milk and honey that is available in select markets.
