Carbon offsets could point the way to climate future

Halfway through the United Nations climate talks in Doha, Qatar, UN climate chief Christiana Figueres said she does not see "much public interest, support, for governments to take on more ambitious and more courageous decisions" to slow global warming. One option is the Clean Development Mechanism, the global environmental currency that awards transferable credits for building green projects in developing countries.
