Dietitians can help clients manage migraines

Foods can have neurovascular and neurochemical effects that trigger migraines, and registered dietitians can help clients manage these headaches by having them keep a food and symptom diary. Research supports the use of elimination diets, and trigger tests also are useful. RD Susan Linke says it's important to look for patterns because food reactions aren't always immediate.
