NeuroMetrix clears final FDA hurdle to market Sensus device

The FDA has cleared NeuroMetrix to market a disposable electrode that works with the firm's Sensus pain management device, which received clearance from the agency in August. The Sensus system employs electromagnetic nerve stimulation to treat leg pain in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy and is targeted for release before the end of 2012.
