New online STEM courses aim to boost career readiness

Career Pathways, a collection of career and technical education courses focused on health sciences, information technology and business, is designed for high-school students. The curriculum is administered by E2020, which provides online and blended courses in grades 6-12. "Today's employers are increasingly placing a premium on technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, in addition to math, science, and reading," Pete Findley, vice president of career education for E2020, said.
