Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board were on the scene of a Friday train derailment in New Jersey that resulted in the release of hazardous materials. Close to 50 homes were evacuated following the accident. In their initial review, federal investigators said that train crews had reported signal issues. "We are looking very closely at that," said Debbie Hersman, chairman of the NTSB. Conrail, the owner of the tracks, is assisting those displaced with hotel rooms and vouchers.
