Human error remains the top factor in network security, a CompTIA study says, adding that security challenges are getting more complicated thanks to social networking, mobile devices and cloud computing. These will require enterprises to boost training and awareness, CompTIA says. "The way they've thought about security in the past is to purchase a firewall or antivirus software or other product. But there's not a product that can help with end-user awareness. It really requires a commitment to training and education," said Seth Robinson, CompTIA's director of technology analysis.
