Thailand launches e-learning programmes with help from Intel

The technology firm Intel is making investments in education in Thailand, providing tablet computers and related support for schools through a pilot programme. Intel also is assisting with teacher training and classroom-management support, officials said. Early research has shown that students have most benefited from the initiative in maths, science and English courses.
