Huawei keeps wireless vendor lead, threatens to quit U.S. efforts

China's Huawei Technologies held on to its lead as the world's top supplier of cellular network equipment with a 28.1% share in the third quarter, according to ABI Research, which said the vendor's share has dropped three points from the previous period. Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei reportedly told a French news site that the company will abandon its U.S. efforts in order to preserve U.S.-China relations.
