Study: Mass. health reform law did not increase ICU admissions

A study in Critical Care Medicine found the Massachusetts health reform law reduced the number of uninsured critically ill patients but did not increase ICU admissions. Researchers said better preventive care and earlier access to care among newly insured patients may have been factors.
