Winemaker brings a taste of Gascony to Calif.

French winemaker Yannick Rousseau hopes to boost the stateside reputation of two of his favorite hometown wines. Gascon-style wines colombard and tannat are the focus of his Napa-based winery, Y. Rousseau. "I thought he was crazy to not do sauvignon blanc like everybody else. But he saw the trend coming," said Rousseau's wife, Susan, who partnered with him to launch the winery.
